During the inspections, it was revealed that three mosques of the XIX-XX centuries were demolished, and one was repaired illegally. The total damage to cultural heritage amounted to 46.8 billion soums.
Among the destroyed facilities is the "Kushok ota" mosque in Kattaqo'rg'on district, whose damage from demolition is estimated at 19.6 billion soums. Also, the "Ahmad Yassaviy" and "Hoji Urinboy" mosques in Urgut district were demolished, resulting in a loss of 17 billion soums.
In addition, in the Samarkand district, the illegal repair of the Kulba architectural monument caused 10.2 billion soums in damages.
Criminal cases have been initiated on all identified facts.
