From March 19 to June 1, an exhibition dedicated to the work of artist Ural Tansykbayev will be held at the Abylkhan Kasteyev State Art Museum in Almaty (Kazakhstan).
The event, titled "Ural Tansykbayev: A Retrospective of Artistic Legacy", is the artist's first large-scale exhibition in the last 40 years.
The exposition presents 78 selected works from the museums of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, covering all stages of the master's creative journey.

Ural Tansykbayev is one of the leading artists of Central Asia of the 20th century, a master of landscape painting. Tansykbayev created landscape paintings marked by a major mood and a lively sense of modernity. He was often called "Uzbek Gogen." Among his notable works are "Mountain Landscape", "Tashkent People", "Portrait of an Uzbek", "A Street in Tashkent", "Chirchik River Valley".
Tansykbayev is known for his powerful and colorful landscapes, in which he captured the nature and life of Central Asia. His works are in the collections of the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan, the Tretyakov Gallery, and other museums.
