The Head of Uzbekistan noted that the country's unique nature, mountains, pastures, and historical monuments open up enormous opportunities for the implementation of new projects in the film industry, concert and entertainment activities, and tourism.
"For example, 'Ichan-Kala' is already a ready-made platform for filming historical films and series. Many countries spend millions of dollars on the construction of such filming pavilions"
Mirziyoyev said.
He also emphasized that in major cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara, Shahrisabz, Kokand, and Namangan, there are all the conditions for holding international exhibitions, forums, and concerts.
The Head of State said that he is ready to support entrepreneurs interested in implementing projects in these areas.
"I am ready to create the most favorable conditions for those who want to develop such initiatives"
he said.
Significant locations in Uzbekistan were used to film many different films. However, most of them were filmed during the Soviet era.
Among the last known paintings, one can note "Vysotsky. Thanks for being alive," as well as some television shows.
