Both domestic and foreign chess players will participate in the competition. Applications are open until May 1st for Uzbek citizens and until April 25th for foreign players.
The organizational fee will be from 250 to 400 thousand soums. However, international masters and grandmasters can participate in the tournament free of charge. In addition, there is a 50% discount for players over 60 years old and people with disabilities.
The tournament will be held according to the classical Swiss system and will include nine rounds. Time control: 90 minutes per game with 30 seconds added for each move.
The winner of Group A will receive 100 million soums, and the champion of Group B will receive 20 million soums. Cash prizes are also provided for the top 10 players in Group A and 15 in Group B.
The best chess players among women, young men, and participants over 60 years old will receive additional awards.
