The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Yunus Rajabi Institute of Uzbek National Musical Art. The purpose of the forum is to comprehensively study and promote the art of bakhshi as an integral part of the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan and the Turkic world.

Conference participants will discuss issues of preserving and passing on the unique schools of epic performance to the younger generation, introducing innovative teaching methods, as well as improving the training of highly qualified personnel in this field. Special attention will be paid to the role of bakhshi-poets, akyns, and jirovs in the development of Eastern culture and folklore.

Among the conference's directions are the history of bakhshi art and the "ustoz-shogird" tradition, epic performance and improvisation skills, local features of the dastan, comparative study of epic genres, as well as linguistic and textual analysis of epic works.

The event is designed not only to deepen scientific research in the field of bakhshi, but also to expand cultural and spiritual ties between the countries of the Turkic world.
