Within the framework of the project, scientists are working with rare manuscripts of "Temur's Code" — a collection of laws and principles of governance of the great ruler.
Key exposition elements:
- Interactive "smart" map of the Timurid Empire with detailed administrative divisions;
- Dozens of rare editions of "Temur's Code" from various countries;
- Previously unpublished drawings by European and Eastern artists depicting Timur;
- Reconstruction of the state administration system of the XIV-XV centuries.
"Some recently discovered materials are of particular interest, which will allow us to look at the system of governance of a vast empire in a new way"
Muhammad Ali, Chairman of the International Amir Temur Public Foundation
The exposition will open in 2025 and will become part of the cultural program of the Year of Development of Uzbekistan. According to the organizers, it will allow for a deeper understanding of the Timurids' contribution to world civilization and their approaches to governance.
