The Tourism Committee, together with local authorities, will approve a large-scale program for the development of 36 districts and cities based on ethno-, gastronomic, medical, extreme, cultural-historical, pilgrimage, winter, and agrotourism.
According to Mirziyoyev, most of the territory of the Sariosiyo district consists of mountain ranges, which opens up great opportunities for winter tourism. Here, it is possible to implement projects for the construction of cable cars, hotels, and trade and service facilities worth $200 million.
Another example: although Chartak is famous for its healing springs, the district head is not rushing with new projects, and the existing sanatoriums cannot attract enough foreign tourists.
As a reminder, "Stihia" is an annual open-air music festival held in Moynaq, on the shores of the dried-up Aral Sea.
