According to the document, the organizers are required to clearly indicate in the advertisement the format of the performance: "Live performance", "Live voice using phonogram" or "Concert program with phonogram".
The Ministry of Culture, when nominating artists for state awards, will now primarily consider their ability to perform live. This concerns conferring the titles of "People's Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan", "Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and "People's Hafiz of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
From July 1, 2025, additional measures will come into force. Concert organizers with live performances will receive a 30 percent discount on advertising broadcasts on the National Television and Radio Company's television channels. Events with live performances or partial use of phonograms will be broadcast free of charge on state television channels if there is a positive conclusion from the artistic council.
Also, starting from July of this year, "Live Performance Week" will be held every three months in all regions of the country.
The new measures are designed to improve the quality of concert programs and support artists performing without phonograms.
