Mansur Ravshanov made a significant contribution to the development of Uzbek theater, staging more than ten plays that became classics of the national stage. Among his most famous works are
"Alpomish", "Boy ila xizmatchi", "Maysaraning ishi", "Alisher Navoiy", "Kelinlar qo‘zg‘oloni", "Makr va muhabbat" and "Alpomishning qaytishi".
He began his career as an actor at the Surkhandarya Regional Musical Drama Theater, and later became a director and chief staging director. Thanks to his efforts, the Surkhandarya Puppet Theater was established, which remains one of the important cultural centers of the region.
