The ceremony began with the symbolic cutting of the ribbon. The event was attended by the Foundation's Chairperson, Gayane Umerova, Osaka Mayor Yokoyama Hideyuki, Uzbekistan's Ambassador to Japan, Muhsinhuja Abdurahmonov, and the pavilion's architect, Shirin Brückner.
After the opening, a tour of the pavilion was conducted for the honored guests, including the mayors of Osaka and Nara cities — Yokoyama Hideyuki and Nakagawa Gena. The excursion was conducted by architect Shirin Bryukner and designer Nada Debs.
The guests were familiarized with the architectural concept reflecting Uzbekistan's cultural heritage, principles of sustainable development, and vision of the country's innovative future.
