Among them is the 14th-century work "Jami at-tavorix" (Collection of Chronicles) by the historian Fazlulloh Rashid ad-Din. Uzbekistan and Turkey initiated the inclusion.
To date, two manuscripts of this unique work are known: one is kept in the library of the Topkapi Palace in Turkey, the second — in the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.
A total of 570 objects are now on the "World Memory" list. UNESCO's program is aimed at preserving and popularizing documentary heritage that holds special cultural and historical value for humanity.
