"Temurnoma" is part of "Hotifiya" — a collection of five poems written in the spirit of classical Persian literature. The work is dedicated to the heroism and world dominance of Amir Temur and is considered one of the important monuments of the literature of the Timurid era.
Abdulloh éotifiy, born in 1454 in Harjird (Jom region, Iran), was strongly influenced by the works of his uncle and great poets such as Nizami, Dehlavi, and Alisher Navoi. In particular, one of the poems of his "Khamsa" — "Layli and Majnun" — was dedicated to Navoi himself, reflecting Hotifiy's deep respect for his mentor.
