The university will become part of the Al-Khwarizmi town, the construction of which began in August 2022. The university will unite three faculties: mathematics and computer science, aerospace technology engineering, and artificial intelligence. Graduates will be in demand in key sectors such as economics, security, ecology, energy, and industry.
Training at the university will be organized according to the credit-modular system in Uzbek and English. The program is based on the experience of "New Uzbekistan" University and will be implemented in partnership with leading universities in the UAE, China, and Great Britain.
The admission of the first students is planned for the 2025/2026 academic year, with a total of 4,000 to 6,000 students. Education will be provided both on the basis of state grants and on a paid basis. The university will also become a research center with international cooperation.
In addition, a branch of the Muhammad Al-Khwarizmi School, based in Tashkent, will be opened in the town. Students will be admitted from the 4th grade on a competitive basis.
