In the near future, the governor of the Italian region of Lombardy, Attilio Fontana, will arrive in Uzbekistan. During his visit, the first Forum of Regions will be held, at which specific joint projects between the regions of the two countries will be discussed.

In terms of education, the parties supported plans to open a branch of Tushiya University in Uzbekistan. It is also planned to launch double-degree programs with the Universities of Pisa, Trento, Roma Tre, and Ca-Foscari - this will allow students to study according to international standards and receive diplomas from two countries at once.

In addition, Italian Culture Days will be held in Uzbekistan.
