According to the Information Service of the Center for Islamic Civilization, meetings are planned with well-known London collectors and cultural heritage figures, including dealers such as Sarukhani, Khalili, Bilal Sudchi, and Davudshah.
One of the main goals of the trip is to develop international cooperation in the return of valuable historical artifacts related to the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan to the Motherland.
In addition, a special exhibition will be organized in London with the participation of more than 80 unique exhibits related to the history of the country. These artifacts were purchased through prestigious auction houses Sotheby's and Christie's, which guarantee the authenticity and historical value of each item, providing them with a five-year warranty.
It should be recalled that the delegation visited the UK earlier - from April 25 to May 2 of this year, during which negotiations were held with collectors and about 60 lots representing historical value for Uzbekistan were selected.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan plans to buy back 48 artifacts related to the history and culture of the republic.
According to the results of the auction held on April 29-30 at Sotheby's, the Center selected 34 lots. Another 14 artifacts were agreed to be purchased on May 1st at Christie's auction. All the facilities are planned to be brought to Uzbekistan and included in the permanent exposition of the Center of Islamic Civilization.
