The project, created by the Foundation’s director Rifat Fattakhov, has rapidly grown into a major international music forum, bringing together people of different generations and countries, not only preserving tradition but restoring its living spirit. The aim of the event is to support talented individuals who do not perform on the professional stage.
Although held only for the second time, the festival is rapidly expanding: while last year saw around 100 applications, this year there were more than 300 from solo performers as well as vocal and dance ensembles from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, China, Turkmenistan and various regions of Russia. As a result, the event culminated in a large-scale concert featuring more than 40 performances.
