The event welcomed participants from Uzbekistan, Turkey, Hungary, Poland, Mexico, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Russia and Kyrgyzstan, creating a space for cultural exchange and professional dialogue.
Uzbekistan was represented by Tursunoy Toshpulatova in the Kurak category, an ancient technique of patchwork and mosaic sewing.
The symposium also featured a roundtable discussion entitled "Art Without Borders: Integrating Traditional Techniques of Ceramics and Kurak into the Contemporary Global Space", addressing such issues as cultural heritage preservation, the transformation of crafts in the context of globalisation, and their integration into the creative economy.
Participants noted that initiatives of this kind create a sustainable platform for dialogue between tradition and innovation, opening new opportunities for craftspeople, designers and artists.
