This melodrama, consisting of three novellas—"Sanjar," "Lena," and "Mamura"—is considered a vivid example of the influence of French New Wave and Italian neorealism on Uzbek cinema. The main roles are played by Maria Sternikova, Rodion Nakhapetov, Madina Mahmudova, Svetlana Borodina, and others.

Shum Bola Film Festival 2026

Concert Uzbekistan: New Soundscapes / Music by Composers of Uzbekistan

The concert Uzbekistan: New Soundscapes is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan and presents music by composers from Uzbekistan. The Turkiston Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Muborak Lutfullaev, will perform on stage. The program also features soloists Nikita Stetsenko (piano), Elena Matveeva (violin), Asene Ovchinnikova (violin), and Adelina Fatkhutdinova (harpsichord), as well as the participation of the Honored Choir of Uzbekistan under the artistic direction of Gulnara Malikova.
