The "Desert Star" tourist complex will be built in Khiva
Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced the construction of a new "Desert Star" tourist complex in Khiva.

The statement was made on May 1 at the opening ceremony of the Arda Khiva International Tourist Center.
The project will be headed by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov. For the construction of the complex, 2.4 thousand hectares of land will be allocated in the Khiva district. Work is planned to begin this year.
According to the head of state, hotels, restaurants, museums, and extreme tourism facilities will be built on the territory of "Desert Star".
In addition, it is planned to develop safari and hunting tourism in the Tuproqqal'a district of the Khorezm region. Also, tourist villages will be opened in four districts of the region.
Additionally, Mirziyoyev announced the creation of a smart museum next to the Mamun Academy.
