Netflix streaming platform has finalized the filming of "The Rise of the Last Conqueror," dedicated to the life and path of Amir Temur to power.

According to the creators, the painting tells the epic story of the great commander's ascent, paying special attention to historical accuracy and the atmosphere of the era.

"We have recreated the history of cinema in the places where one of the most significant figures of the region lived and fought. This is priceless for the film," the statement said.

The film was directed by Jacob Schwartz and written by Matthew Green. The role of Amir Temur was played by Christian Mortensen, Amir Husayn by Mahesh Jadu, and Temur's wife by Oljoy Turkon by Uzbek actress Yulduz Rajabova.

Filming began at the end of 2022 and ended in the fall of 2024. The works were carried out on the territory of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

The film is currently in the postproduction stage. The premiere is expected at the end of summer 2025.
