To take a deeper look into the past, it is enough to visit Ismail Samani's mausoleum. The compact building made of carved brick is one of the oldest structures of Central Asian Islamic architecture.

Restaurants and cafes

The "Joy" restaurant, whose beauty will leave you amazed, is located in the ancient caravanserai itself. An environment rich in oriental patterns, live music, and decorations will seemingly pluck you from daily life and transport you to Eastern tales.

In the very heart of Bukhara's historical part, near the Ko‘kaldosh madrasa and the Labi hovuz ensemble, the famous "Labi hovuz restaurant" is located. The national dishes by the poolside must be the perfect finale to a scorching hot day.

Taqi-Zargaron Trading Domes – a covered market from the 16th century where jewelers once worked. Today, here you can take a stroll along the traces of history, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the ancient city, and buy souvenirs.

At Bukhara's Central Bazaar, you will be greeted by the fragrant aroma of spices, a world of dried fruits, and hot bread fresh from the tandoor – here, you can also find many other products among the stalls.
