The program includes the premiere of a dramatic monologue performance, powerful improvisational stand-up, exhibitions by young and experienced artists, art pop-ups, live orchestral concerts, as well as film screenings and cozy December traditions. Etro Home x Moona Pop-up Shop |
Location: Moona, Tashkent City, 2A Furkat St. For a few days, the brand Etro Home will take up residence at Moona: ceramics, textiles, aromatic accents, and home items created in the aesthetics of modern Italian decor. On December 4, the pop-up will open at 17:00—with treats, a festive atmosphere, and a set by DJ Ronan. From December 5 to 7, the showcase will be open in free mode: 11:00–20:00.

Premiere of the play “The Neighbor” by the “Other Animals” theater

The monodrama "The Neighbor" is based on the play by Dario Fo and Franca Rame "I'm Waiting for You, My Love." Actress Galina Borisova lives out on stage the story of a woman trying to hold on in a moment of emotional catastrophe. Maria Tikhomolova has assembled the performance as a confession—touching, vivid, and at times ironic.

A kind December tradition returns — family workshops where children and parents create ornaments for the big Christmas tree in the library. Every year it becomes adorned with little artifacts: felt figures, fluffy garlands, paper stars. And all of this remains in memory as a warm family ritual.

Screening of the film "Toni Erdmann" (dir. Maren Ade, 2016)
An extravagant dramedy by Maren Ade that makes you want to hug your loved ones after watching. An Oscar nominee and winner of the FIPRESCI Prize at Cannes. "Toni Erdmann" explores the relationship between a father and daughter. The screening is held with the support of the Goethe-Institut. The film is shown in German with Russian subtitles.

Personal exhibition of Alexandra Romanova "Golden People"
Exhibition curator: Anna Frolkina Exhibition hours: December 6, Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00 (from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM the gallery is open by invitation only). Alexandra Romanova presents three series she has been working on in Tashkent over the past three years. This is a diary of observations of the city and its inhabitants, told in the language of the St. Petersburg school of painting—with attention to light, corporeality, gestures, and the inner vibrations of people.

The artist is known for his special attention to the Uzbek visual tradition, its light, textures, and inner meditativeness. The exhibition reveals his artistic language in a new form and promises to become one of the important art events of December.

Stand-up improvisation by Madiyar Nurmanbetov
Madiyar Nurmanbetov is a talented stand-up comedian whose main tool is improvisation. Madiyar is known for his participation in projects such as AITPA, “Ili Cho”, Kimura Show. Each of his performances is like a game of blitz chess, only instead of pieces there are jokes, unexpected responses from the audience, and his signature delivery. The evening promises to be light, lively, and absolutely unique — you definitely won’t see another improvisation like this anywhere else.

Exhibition "View"
From December 7 to 13, the photo exhibition "Viewpoint" will be held at the Community Coffee Bar space. This is a creative exploration of the Old Town through the eyes of students from the International Inclusive Hub. The students worked under the guidance of photographers Ildar Sadykov and Sergey Pogosyan, creating series about people, architecture, light and shadow, and the rhythms of the urban environment. Each work is a small story created within a single location.
