This week’s guide

This week will combine independent cinema, live music, events from the creative industry, parties in the mountains, and lectures. Some events are about inspiration and ideas, while others are about love.

Creator’s meet-up / Evoke Creative Hub

Meetup for Creators: Networking, Experience Sharing, and Inspiration. The program includes a panel discussion on careers in the fashion industry (featuring @shokha_art, @nikita_koshlenko, @dr.iman.maksudova), followed by a lecture by @farrux_sharif on how to generate ideas. Afterwards — networking, dancing to a DJ set (@thegaaarda and @ianiiiron), and welcome drinks from partners; gifts are promised for the most creative blue-themed looks (limited quantity). Screening of the film "Brief Encounters" (dir. Kira Muratova, 1967)

Kira Muratova's classic with Vladimir Vysotsky (featuring three of his songs in the film). The story of a love triangle: a young geologist, frequently away on business trips, finds himself entangled with two women—and the moment of choice arrives.

Screening by Retro Film Club in Russian, duration 96 minutes.

A quiet, contemplative film "about a state of being," about everyday life and inner freedom — about small rituals and the beauty that's easy to overlook.

Jazz Evening "ALL about Love" (SoundTravel Jazz Quartet)

A Romantic Jazz Evening for Valentine's Day: a live program by the SoundTravel Jazz Quartet in a concert/evening format.

Evening of Traditional Korean Music with No Tae Cheol

When: Sun, February 15, 18:00

Where: Palace of Youth Creativity

South Korean conductor No Tae-cheol will conduct a concert of traditional Korean music in Tashkent. The program includes rare national instruments and the "Pom Baram" Korean Song Folk Choir of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Bayram 4.0 — Traditional Report Evening at Moc Hub

When: Sunday, February 15th, guest gathering from 7:00 PM, start at 8:00 PM

Where: MOC Hub

The traditional "reporting bayram" — a warm community gathering with a live music program. The program features tracks and covers (or setlist) in the spirit of Alicia Keys, Billie Eilish, Zoloto, Gnarls Barkley, Noize MC, and other artists. The format is an evening for our own: come to chat, support the participants, and simply spend a Sunday in a good atmosphere.
