Prominent Uzbek Circus Performer Olimjon Toshkenboev Dies Passes Away
Today, at the age of 81, Olimjon Toshkenboev, a prominent figure in Uzbek circus art and an Honoured Artist of Uzbekistan, has passed away. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan.

For many years, Olimjon Toshkenboev led the troupe Oʻzbekiston Dorbozlari (“Uzbek Tightrope Walkers”). Under his leadership, the ensemble performed on international stages, including in countries across Europe, Africa, and Latin America. Toshkenboev also worked as a director at the Uzbekcircus association, focusing on training young performers and developing the circus school.
