Tashkent to Host Performance Featuring Russian Actors
An adventure comedy, Three on a Swing (Tre sull'altalena), will be staged at the Palace of Trade Unions in Tashkent on 12 May. The play tells the story of three completely different individuals who, by irony of fate, find themselves in the same unexpected circumstances.
According to the plot, three strangers, each setting out on their own business, unexpectedly meet at the same location. No one is waiting for them there, yet leaving proves impossible.
Theatre enthusiasts describe the production as humorous, intriguing and thought-provoking, with philosophical undertones. For some, its near-detective storyline may prove especially engaging, while others will simply enjoy the heroes' improbable adventures.
The cast features well-known Russian actors Sergey Astakhov, Yaroslav Boyko, Andrey Kaikov and Nadezhda Tegunova.
