Film “Qadam” Selected for Cannes International Film Festival
The short film “Qadam” (“Step”) has been selected to take part in one of the world’s most prestigious film festivals, held annually in Cannes, France.

Directed by Dilshod Usmanov and Sukhrob Kodirov, the film has been included in the international inclusive film festival “Entre Deux Cannes”, which takes place as part of the Cannes International Film Festival. This year marks the 79th edition of the festival, scheduled to run from 12 to 23 May in France.
The film was produced by Uzbek filmmakers on commission from the Cinematography Agency of Uzbekistan at the Yoshlik studio. Its full title is “Qadam. Yusuf, the Sunny Child”. The story explores a person’s inner struggle, emotional experiences, and strength of will. A seemingly simple step taken by the protagonist becomes a turning point capable of changing his entire life.
