Lecture 'Great Architects: Ludwig Mies van der Rohe'

Mies van der Rohe was the last director of the Bauhaus, the author of the 'Less is More' principle, and one of the fathers of 20th-century glass architecture. The meeting will feature an analysis of his biography and an exploration of which modernist ideas are still legible in Tashkent's architecture. The format is interactive — guests will participate in analysing the city's urban landscape.
