Turkmenistan to Award Laureates of the ‘Türkmeniň Altyn asyry’ Prize 380,800 Manats
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution on awarding the "Türkmeniň Altyn asyry" (Golden Age of Turkmenistan) prize to the winners of the competition among figures of literature, culture and art. The total amount of payments will be 380,800 manats, Turkmenportal writes.

The funds will come from the Charitable Fund of the President of Turkmenistan through the country's Central Bank. The winners will receive a cash prize for creating works reflecting the transformations in independent Turkmenistan, its history and national values, as well as for successful performances in cultural events and contributions to the development of Turkmen culture and art.
The decision is timed to coincide with the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence and was made taking into account the proposals of the selection commission. The award is presented to figures of literature and art, young singers, and gifted children. The full list of winners has been published in the republic's central newspapers.
