Honorary Professor of the Kazakh Academy of Arts named after A. Zhurgenov. Chief Researcher at the Fine Arts Department of the Institute of Art Studies of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. Curator of exhibitions of contemporary art held in Uzbekistan and abroad. He is the author of several books on twentieth-century Central Asian painting.
