Senior Researcher at the Institute of Oriental Studies, Associate Professor at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Vice-rector of New Uzbekistan University. He is the author of two monographs and more than 50 articles. Member of the European Society for the Study of Central Asia (ESCAS) and consultant to the international network group "Steppe Sisters", which unites women scientists exploring Central Asia and neighboring regions.

Cooperates with National Geographic, Channel One, Izvestia (Russia), news agencies and charitable foundations. He has repeatedly participated in international exhibitions, was a member of the jury of international photo contests. He works in the genres of street photography, genre photography and portrait, reportage and documentary photography, fashion and commercial photography. A distinctive feature of the style is shooting in black and white, an experimental unconventional approach, unusual compositions, light and shadows.
