Photo of the day: The power of colors

It was made by Bernard Bernstein in 1967 during anti-war protests in the US, at the height of the human rights movement and the Vietnam War.

This photo became a symbol of the hippie era, which promoted the ideas of peace, love, and freedom of expression, and actively protested against violence, oppression, and war. He conveyed the idea that the power of peace (in the form of colors) can overcome the power of weapons.

Flower Power entered the cultural lexicon as an expression of the philosophy of peaceful protest, capable of influencing society much more strongly than violence or aggression. This photo reminds us of the importance of peaceful means of change and protest expression and remains an important historical and cultural symbol to this day.
