A Journey Through the History of Azerbaijani Cinema: Beloved Films, Music and Nostalgia
On 16 October, Baku’s Show Gallery will host an evening titled “A Journey Through the History of Azerbaijani Cinema” - a meeting with Azerbaijani cinema that will bring together fascinating stories about famous films and live performances of their melodies, iTicket.AZ reports.

"Arshin Mal Alan", "The Mother-in-Law" and "Don't Be Afraid, I'm With You" are films that generations have grown up with. Thanks to them, audiences learned about the culture, traditions and customs of the Azerbaijani people. The host of the evening will talk about the beloved pictures, curious facts and the stories behind their creation. And the professional pianist Zarifa Kerimova will perform live the melodies that viewers remember from Azerbaijani cinema films.
A separate part of the programme will be a question and answer session, where guests will be able to discuss cinema and share their impressions. This is a chance to look at familiar films in a new way and spend an evening in an atmosphere of music and pleasant memories.
