Kettik!
This week’s guide
This week Tashkent switches between eras and genres: Beethoven and Tchaikovsky at the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre sit alongside the electronic stage of the Sublimation festival, a Japanese-Uzbek musical evening alongside a British comedy in English, and a play about the Soviet conquest of Bukhara alongside chamber jazz and beloved Soviet songs. A retrospective of Zurab Tsereteli is open in the exhibition space at NBU: paintings, sculpture and enamels from different years. Theatres, galleries, concert halls - there is something to choose from for every day. Well then, kettik!
