This week in Tashkent - from classics to experimentation. Friday opens on several fronts at once: "Giselle" at the GABT, "Free Novel" at Ilkhom, ethno-rock from KÖHNA and a jam session with electronics at the SSA. On Saturday - an art brunch dedicated to scandalous masterpieces and a big pop concert. Sunday is packed: gossip from the art world, American artists at breakfast, the immersive sound drama "Qo'rqma" and a family film festival at the children's library. Early in the week - a concert in memory of Magomayev and a theatrical improvisation, on Wednesday - a lecture about Frank Lloyd Wright. The finale of the week: a three-hour intensive on contemporary art and "Paris, Texas" by Wim Wenders by candlelight at Nukus 89.

The organizers give you the opportunity to spend three days with your children looking at cinema from different angles. You will be able to visit the film archive, the Museum of Cinematic Art, VGIK and Uzbekfilm and learn how films are created and stored. On September 27, a family workshop by producer Shelin Erkhodzhaeva on film language and a lecture by film scholar Kamilla Abdullaeva on directorial techniques. In the evenings, screenings of Uzbek puppet animation based on Karakalpak fairy tales and French cartoons.
