Digital Autumn in Karaganda to Unite Painting and Virtuality

Visitors will find interactive spaces created with virtual and augmented reality. Viewers will be able to interact with works by renowned masters, including pieces by Claude Monet and the “Mona Lisa” in a new digital context. The exhibition will feature artistic experiments, including the Outrenoir movement and the digital universe of Japanese artist Ito Meikyū.

The festival programme includes projects exploring painting, architecture, sound, memory and images of nature. Each offers its own reading of the world around us and demonstrates the possibilities of human interaction with contemporary art.

The festival is organised by the Embassy of France and the French Institute with the support of the French Alliance in Karaganda. The exhibition is housed in the museum at 76 Bukhar-Zhyrau Avenue. Entry is by museum ticket.
