Nurlan Munbayev

An expert at the Kazakhstan Foundation for Parliamentarism and the Eurasian Club of Economists, and a brand ambassador for the Open World Foundation. He is actively involved in issues related to the environment, water resources, and research on the Caspian Sea. He has been studying the issue of the Caspian Sea’s shallowing for many years. He comments on the development of environmental awareness and reforms to Kazakhstan’s water legislation (including the New Water Code). Recipient of the Jonathan Fryer Medal, UNESCO coordinator at BINOM schools, and expert for the Republican Association of Private Education (RACHO).
