According to the event organizer Javokhir Riskiev (Tony Kark), ComicCon Tashkent 2025 grew at least twofold compared to last year. "It was visible to the naked eye. Many people said, 'This year is just a different level.' Of course, there were micro-moments that we will refine, but overall, I am satisfied," he notes.
The main distinction of the festival was its partners and activities. "There were so many that by the end we physically couldn't accommodate everyone. But you know, that's a nice problem to have—when more people want to participate than you can accept," says Riskiev.
There were many positive reviews this time. "95% were pure positivity. People were thanking, sharing emotions. For me, that matters more than any numbers."
Looking ahead, Riskiev does not reveal all plans but promises that the festival will only grow.
ComicCon Tashkent has already become a landmark event for our country, and in the future, I believe it will become one of the key events for the entire region. Even without advertising abroad, we attracted over 500 tourists this year. And this is just the beginning.
