The new heroine of our Community column is Faniya Dedeneva. We are interested in the artist's journey not only as a story about craft, but also as an example of how creativity can provide meaning and become the main guiding principle in life.
Fania Dedeneva's creative biography began with the tragic loss of her family. She was raised in orphanages, dreamed of entering an institute, but was forced to work. These trials did not break her; instead, they pushed her toward creativity, through which she lived out her pain.
Currently, Faniya Dedeneva is realizing herself not only as an artist but also as a teacher. She also manages to study at an institute, works with children from charity homes, organizes master classes, and works at the Tashkent History Museum.
"When you work and study, you learn more and can give more to the children. And I need this, I would continue to study further," says Fania Dedeneva.
The conversation with her turned out to be very warm and touching. The video is available on our YouTube channel.
